Desert Landscape

This series is a set of paper cut-outs on paper, inspired by desert landscapes.

Forms are stripped down to the essential, mirroring the silence and solitude of the dessert. Colours invoke the brilliant white light and scorching heat of the day, and the stark shadows and cool of the evening. Ancient remains paired with wild terrain, speak of the passage of time.
